November 6th 2010, my assistant Sheridan and I made our way to the southern highlands for the unforgettable wedding of Melissa and James at Milton Park Country House Hotel .
As you drive into the estate, the lush green gardens are so magical I was tempted to wander off and explore the grounds. We were somewhat unprepared for that brisk cold November morning, from memory it was only 11 degrees and by the clattering of Sheridan's teeth Ugg boots and a Snuggy would have come in handy. Thankfully the bridal suite was toasty warm.
The bridal party consisted of the breathtaking bride, Melissa, four bridesmaids, two flower girls and of course the beautiful mother of the bride. It was a pleasure to meet them all and make them look gorgeous.
Melissa and James were married at St Frances Xavier Church in Berrima and despite the early morning showers and cold, they were still able to roam the lush grounds of Milton Park and get some amazing images.
David of SOCIETY [photography] did an outstanding job capturing the day.
Melissa's gown was by Pronovias at Fashions by Farinas.
Hair: Strands of Colour
Makeup: Sandra Glynn assisted by Sheriden Leghorn
Wedding Planner: "I didn't have a Wedding Planner" says Melissa, "just my beautiful Mum"
